M35 Stagea Replacement Key

Car came with only one set of Remote keys. Needed to get another just in case I lose it. Options available is that you can upgrade/replace the factory security with an aftermarket remote.

This means you have to carry the key fob or blade with a remote. However I prefer having the key and remote in one.

The other place you can get one from is from Nissan, however these may be quite expensive as its not local and afternarket parts that needed to be ordered from Japan.

The last option is to get an old fob, whether it be from the wreakers or online. Eventhough the external shells may look the same, the circuits inside may vary and is different. So it has to be exact - so open your FOB and have a look.

Then transfer the internals over to a new shell+blade as the old-blades are molded on and can not just replace the blade.

Then you have to Cut the Blade and Programme it to your car.

Programming instructions

Step 1

Make sure all doors are closed ( this inludes boot and rear passenger doors )

Step 2

Lock all doors ( using the drivers door lock switch )

Step 3

Insert and remove keys from ignition barrel 6 times ( key must be fully inserted and removed ) within 10 seconds.

******* Doors will unlock and go into programming mode ************

Step 4

When doors unlock, insert key and select ACC within 1 second. ( if your too slow - it wont work and start all over again. ) and lock ther drivers door lock switch.

Step 5a Programming 1 remote

Press any button on the remote and the doors should unlock.

Open drivers side door and programming is complete.

Step 5b Programming 2 remotes.

Press any button on the remote and the doors should unlock.

Press any button on the 2 remote and the doors should unlock.

Open drivers side door and programming is complete.
